Fujitsu Siemens has quietly introduced a new addition to the Pocket LOOX range of PDAs. The N series of PDAs has seen its innovative Pocket LOOX PDA range expand in functionality with the addition of an integrated gps receiver">integrated gps receiver. One of the first things we noticed as we unpacked this PDA was its small size and more specifically, its narrow width. It is actually hard to imagine that Fujitsu Siemens managed to pack everything it did, including GPS, into this small form factor. Another feature we loved was the fact that the GPS antenna is built into the body, so there is no need to unfold a bulky aerial. Looking at the technical specifications of the N520, it features a 312MHz Intel XScale processor with a 128MB ROM and 64MB or RAM, all of which runs on Windows Mobile 5.
Just below the 3.5-inch LCD are most of the common PDA buttons you will find on such a device, including a special GPS button that will launch your GPS software. Compared to the other devices in this roundup, we were a little disappointed with the bundle that ships with this device. It only features an AC adapter, USB sync cable and pouch.
