A PDA -- personal digital assistant -- is a system that makes it possible to increase to overall productivity of an organization. A restaurant is only one place where the tool could be used. The introduction of a PDA in a restaurant will impact the organization in various ways.
The PDA is not the Personal Digital Assistant, tucked away in your pocket like a permanent and adoring friend. Rather the PDA that my generation knew and loved was the Public Display of Affection, a way of spreading the love through demonstrating your connection with others. But today affection seems to have been wrestled aside by aggression and apathy in the public arena. This is the beginning of my mission to resurrect the PDA and to celebrate Practicing Daily Affection.
