How Quickly Mobile Learning Has Progressed In 5 Short Years!

The first mobile learning workshop took place in Birmingham, UK in 2002 and the 6th International Mobile Learning Conference just concluded in Melbourne Australia. Having attended nearly every one of these and being involved in mobile learning is Australia is it interesting to reflect on how the conversation and focus has changed in that time.

Flirt Alert – Why the PDA is in Danger of Extinction

The PDA is not the Personal Digital Assistant, tucked away in your pocket like a permanent and adoring friend. Rather the PDA that my generation knew and loved was the Public Display of Affection, a way of spreading the love through demonstrating your connection with others. But today affection seems to have been wrestled aside by aggression and apathy in the public arena. This is the beginning of my mission to resurrect the PDA and to celebrate Practicing Daily Affection.
